Haven't been looking recently, has the madness of prices for Motorhomes stopped? Slowed down? Or still bonkers? 🤔

Px ing the Morello already?
All I have seen there’s a lot who are thinking about selling and wondering what their van is worth!! A lot that appear over and over again and what is obviously more than someone is willing to pay. And others that go very quickly. I don’t think it’s slowed down yet.

Vans in the 20/30k bracket in good condition are flying out even well presented vans up to 60k are moving well , lots of dreamers on both sides still about but this is nothing new, if your in the market of a 2to5 year old van they are just not there for any money (but make me an offer every thing for sale ;) ) also I'm hearing 18 to 24 months lead in on new vans , so yes still pretty crazy atm ,

I think a lot of people got the staycation bug and have found they like the freedom a motorhome offers and want to get into it. We were talking to a couple who had just bought a 2018 VW pop top for them and their 3 kids, they paid more for that than I did for my new Benimar last year and they only have a portapotty and no shower so have to stay on sites for facilities (I think it would be very cosy for 5 in it as well). Plenty love the idea but just jump in and buy what they think is right/bargain etc etc but long term find they didnt get the right advice

I really like the idea of the vw campers. But I don’t think even as just the two of us I could go back to a van without a toilet and a shower. On Tuesday I took my van to Kilkee parked in the Carpark that had its height barrier open. We went for a long walk on the beach, bracing! Came back to the van had a coffee and a pee.
Also as you say FC, family of 5 in a very small van really needs a drive away awning to provide a little bit of space.
And they are going to mainly restricted to campsites and paying for 5 people. All in all they look great, it’s nice to be able to park in most places but no not for me.

Main reason for buying one for us, Music festivals don't have showers and their toilets are well.... a tad fusty? :/
