Alden satilite system not finding a signal.

Hi all,

Just bought a 2008 Rapido 990M that came with an auto search Alden satilite dish. It does a lot of rotating but never finds a signal. It has the half moon electronics. Do I need to update the system?

It can depend where you are if you in and around trees it won’t pick up take it to clear sky’s and try it first

Is the mh from Ireland or the UK. If it's an import from Europe the sat system could be programmed for one of their satellites and not seeing Astra 28.2
If that's the case the controller needs to be reprogrammed for Astra 28.2

I had trouble with my Alden satellite system...send Alden in france an email,they were very helpful to me and got me sorted...the software may just need to be updated but as previously suggested make sure there is no trees or buildings blocking the satellite's view of the skys
