Canopy problem. Any suggestions

Hello folks. Hope someone can advise us.We have been having an occasional problem with our MH canopy popping open. We have managed to squeeze it back in each time but the last time was 50km from Santander with no easy way onto the roof. (We have purchased a telescopic ladder since.) Its the top panel that pops up gaping about an inch of space in the centre. I have no photo unfortunately. Its not too difficult get it back, with 2 people but I'm afraid it will happen at some stage and get kinked. I cannot put a clamp on it and a strap will only reach about 40cm from each end. Thanks Ally, That is not possible on ours as the bar connecting the canopy to the MH runs most of the way underneath the canopy. I haven't seen anything on any of the websites for sale either. We may use a strap at each end but that leaves almost 4 metres unstrapped. Enjoy the sunshine.
