As an alternative to electric push bike yes but not quite yet compared to a scooter. My 125 is good for 60mph and 3 times the distance between fills. I suppose it depends how you would use it.

I have been looking and there are ones that will go faster and further. My main concern would be charging. When we are touring we use our 125cc scooter daily without the worry of running out of power. Would campsites electric cope with the amps required. Could we charge it enough when driving or using solar, through our inverter. I had thought an electric one would be lighter, ours is approx 134kg

13 amp plug to charge. Doubt they consume much power.

13amp plug maxed out is 3kw. I don't see battery capacity but charge time of 9 hours suggests much lower draw, a first gen Nissan Leaf could charge a 24kwh battery in 21 hours in the 13 amp charging cable.

I would still have concerns about range. One that says 60 miles range could be a lot less once you give it the gutty or carry a pillion.
