It is great to see these forward thinking councils taking the initiative as there are presently more motorhomes out there than there are parking places for them.
Once parking has been provided then all other businesses in that area will benefit from the money that these people will spend.
Surely this must be a prompt for others who are presently looking out.
It is interesting but equally a little strange. 10 campervan bays, on site sewage treatment system (they are very expensive especially if it has to deal with blue liquid. Showers toilets and a reception.
I hope he has done the maths as it would seem to be a huge outlay with very little return, unless there is scope to increase capacity or there is substantial grant funding.
With facilities equal to a full blown caravan park I wouldn't be surprised if the tariff will be the same.
Norman View is 5* it's an example of what a motorhome park should be, nice parking bays, ehu if you want it and a services bay.
I had half of a response written earlier and deleted it. Unfortunately when I see “campsite owners“ that do not live in west Clare, we OK Jamie yeah, add "Motorhome Parking", I immediately expect something that will be accommodating statics within 3 years.

That's the same as they did in Kilmore Quay and now they're operating as a full blown caravan and camping park. The council don't seem to be interested in enforcing their own planning regulations, but if we park anywhere but a caravan park they'll be down on us like a ton of bricks.
