just use the free version of both and decide which one you prefer. Ive been using the free park4night for a few years and it has worked well around europe
I have the paid version of Campercontact and the free version of Park4night.
The paid version is worth it for the up to date reviews. Same with the Motorhome Parking Ireland app.
Ive both the paid versions for Europe, find park4night the best. Always have found a stop using it, on the same note campercontact can have stops that dont appear on p4n..... and vice versa.
In the scheme of things I think its worth having both.
If you are in a big van you need to be careful of Park4Night especially. There are a lot of places that are not official aires that can't accommodate you, and even worse sometimes it's a nightmare to turn round.
Definitely Campercontact, I have been using their database for at least fifteen years and the very few inaccuracies found were in Scotland.
It includes both areas and campsites.
I have the free App but I seldom use it, usually I just do a simple search on their site, it includes three reviews which in 99% of cases is enough to understand if it is a good place or not.
As for the campsites, I use the Dutch Archiecampings which also has sections of members only Camper & Motorhome Club Certified Location and Camping & Caravanning Club Certified Sites.
Archie also has its own App .
Both have downloadable POIs for the most part of satnavs brands
