Irish ferries

Just got a text from Irish Ferries to say that the WB Yeats won't be sailing Cherbourg to Dublin tomorrow but the Epsilon will be taking its place. When I tried to book it there is no space and any cabins are held for lorry drivers anyway so they offered €85 fuel money to go via Calais then to Wales to cross to Rosslare. I worked this out it adds 772 miles to my journey. I'm going to stay another couple of days and have booked a Stena boat. I have done the other journey before and just can't be bothered driving those miles. Trying to get a refund now

772 miles (1242km) represents about 120 litres of diesel in the average motorhome. The offer of €85 is very cheeky. At current prices €240 would be nearer the mark.

Got a text this morning to say the WB Yeats will not be sailing on Tuesday 3rd May. My sailing being transferred to the MV Blue Star 1. Has anyone travelled on this ship. If so what's it like?
