Does anyone know what would be vrt on a 92 camper on uk plates.think it’s in country at least 2 years and would I get caught for more as I would be clearing it.thanks in advance

There's no set figure, you'll be in the hands of the vrt assessors in Rosslare tax office

30 years and older is €200 for VRT

That’s what the helpful guy behind the counter in the Northpoint test centre told me, he rang someone to confirm.

Look on the sales sites for a current going price, then 13.5% of that.
You will be asked for a sales invoice and shipping g invoice.
Do you own it or are you looking to buy it,
If its been here for two years you, or whoever owns it, could get a bill for 24 months peneltys, on the VRT amount.

After just going through it, I was given the same advice about "vintage" 30 year old was 200 euro, but as a suggestion have as much paperwork regarding the history as possible,mot's ect.

In case you missed the point, the van was only 28 years old when it was imported into this country. You may have to prove it wasn't used her, If it was used here, there will be a record of its Insurance, maybe a parking ticket, then be very very careful
