From Cllr Cillian Murphy

Spent some time this morning walking around Kilkee with a senior council staff member, looking at suitable locations for the roll out of new EV charging points. We also discussed other possible suitable locations/car parks around the Loop Head Peninsula and the wider West Clare area.
One other idea is to create a number of electrical points for motorhome parking in tandem with the EV charging spaces, adding value to the project by creating dedicated managed motorhome parking spaces in our public car parks.
All in all an interesting morning.

If we could send him the newspaper article on the financial gain brought to Graiguenamagh since they opened the MH park ,I'm sure that would help the councillors case

Have you a link I will forward it.

It would also be good if the councilor understood that motorhomes can get by without electrical points too.

I have wanted to overnight in Kilkee ever since getting a campervan but wasn’t sure that would be welcome. Hopefully this will make it a good stopover.

You can park in the big carpark in Kilkee anytime, if there is room for you to get a space. The one on the left side of the bay looking out to sea.
