LEISURE BATTERY

Hi Craicers. I need to replace my Leisure battery. The EXIDE G80 gel battery came as standard BUT I am having trouble sourcing replacement EXIDE BATTERY. Can anyone please suggest an alternative and where I can buy it? Hopefully going to France next month so time is critical. Thanks......Hobey

Hobey. I doubt if you will get an Exide now as I haven,t seen them for a long time,however I use and sell Platinum Leisure batteries which I find very good . I have 2 x110amp Platinum Leisure in my own Motorhome since 2008 and have no problems with them . If you can send me the dimensions of your battery im sure we could sort you out with it inc delivery.

Thanks Michelinman for your reply AND to those who looked but didn't reply! I've managed to find a replacement this morning close to home. Now I need a 12v TV/DVD and I'll be ready for France in 4 weeks time.............Hobey

Check out the tuner before you buy........... This will not accept saorview as it hasent got a hd tuner built in. Sorry

power city do a 12v walker tv with saorview you must get saorview as these tvs will pick up signal all over ireland and GB also Anchorpoint motorhomes ( Birdhill near you ) do a good tv and aerial package if you need aerial also

Hobey, you don't necessarily need a 12 volt tv most flat screens come with a voltage drop box on the lead and if not then a cheaper way is to buy an invertor. In my HO dedicated 12 volt tv's are not worth the extra money.

Hi Hobey I have 12v 16" televisions with M peg 4 coming in around the end of the month.That will do your job in the south.
