Hi Craicers. I need to replace my Leisure battery. The EXIDE G80 gel battery came as standard BUT I am having trouble sourcing replacement EXIDE BATTERY. Can anyone please suggest an alternative and where I can buy it? Hopefully going to France next month so time is critical. Thanks......Hobey

Hobey. I doubt if you will get an Exide now as I haven,t seen them for a long time, however I use and sell Platinum Leisure batteries which I find very good . I have 2 x110amp Platinum Leisure in my own Motorhome since 2008 and have no problems with them . If you can send me the dimensions of your battery im sure we could sort you out with it inc delivery.

Thanks Michelinman for your reply AND to those who looked but didn't reply! I've managed to find a replacement this morning close to home. Now I need a 12v TV/DVD and I'll be ready for France in 4 weeks time.............Hobey

Saw these recommended on another forum, look like as nice bit of kit and good value.

Hobey, you don't necessarily need a 12 volt tv most flat screens come with a voltage drop box on the lead and if not then a cheaper way is to buy an invertor. In my HO dedicated 12 volt tv's are not worth the extra money.
