Maybe someone can advise me on this.
Im looking to travel from Cherbourg to Bonneville in France and the quickest route on Google maps takes me from the A13 onto the A86 at Paris. But this road has a 2 meter tunnel which dosent sound right, but its there.
Has anyone any experience of travelling this road.? If so, i would appreciate any input.
Cheers

Hi Rob where is the 2mtr tunnel ?

Try this https://impargo.de. Its a truck Route planner for Europe with freight cost and toll calculator, input the spec for a 2 axle ,7.5 ton euro 4 vehicle and see what route it will send you it wont be under 2mtr tunnel's,

Using Google maps for a motorhome route is not a good idea. Either get a camper sat nav or subscribe to something like Sygic Camper for the phone or tablet.

Hi Rob. I do that route every year, cant think of any tunnel that gives us problems. Hopefully I'll be there next month can let you know. Its a matter of picking up the signs for Lyon. I did miss that junction one year and had bother getting back on track

Rob, I think this is the direction I would go A12 Lyon before J 6 ( will bring you to the A6 E15 Lyon). its about 5km back from the Tunnel Toll junction you refer too.

Brilliant, thats the job so. Iwas very confused why they had a 2 meter tunnel on that stretch which gets you to the next motorway to where i am going.

From the routes i see now Tommy, i was assuming i had to go a13 then a86. but from the link Martin posted, it seems you hop off the a13 onto the a12 to lyon. that works for me.
