1985 Auto Trail Cherokee

I have bought a 1985 Mercedes based Auto Trail Cherokee. The shower/toilet looks like it has been remodelled at some point and I am trying to find images of what it originally looked like. Does anyone have an original 1985-ish Cherokee that they could send me pictures of? Or did anyone previously own one but still have pictures of the interior?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you searched images on Google or even looked on the likes of Autotrader for a similar one for sale. Failing that you could try Autotrail and see if they would oblige

Thanks for the reply... I tried Autotrail but the oldest literature they had only went back to 1991. No-one there could help me.
I have Googled lots of for sale adds etc.. and found the same model and year, but there are differences in the WC and shower.
What's confusing me is that the one-piece shower tray in my MH extends under the adjacent cupboard! I think it may have had a sink unit on that side, but the access panel for the Thetford doesn't match where the WC would have been in this layout. I'll keep digging!

I used to have one. It had a shower base that took up the whole floor and it extended into the alcove where the porta potty was stored. It had a full length sink unit that folded up into it with a sliding mirror press over it.

Thanks roadwretch... that all makes perfect sense. At some point the access to the porta-potty in the bathroom has been blocked off and a door fitted to create extra storage below the wardrobe. A plinth was then built, an access panel cut and a Thetford toilet fitted. Mystery solved... ;o)
