Be very careful buying the £90 eBay ones, ask me how I know.
The ‘cheaply’ units run software no where as efficient as the ‘good ones’ … heat exchangers are poorly made and don’t seal well.
For the extra few pounds buy a decent unit, one that runs the copy of the esbacher software, one with better quality fittings.
If you’ve been around them for a while, service them and fit them you begin to see where the differences are… and believe me you won’t be sorry by spending the bit extra.
Also, the quality of the installation is very important, both from a sealing point of view and fireproofing the exaust outlet… the plate supplied isn’t usually up to the job.
You pays your money and takes your chance.
