I know it's in the App but the last review is pre Covid-19 and mentions €5 per night.
We used to always park for free facing the check-in booths along by the hedge when getting an early morning ferry . Has anyone done this recently, we're planning to get the 10.15am ferry to Bilbao in mid January.

Is that one still on the app? I'm sure I removed one or was going too as they have stopped motorhomes parking. Maybe another one?

The spot Colin is talking about is just before the check in area so once there you can't turn back, so not suitable for the app

That's right it's within the one-way system to the check-in booths.
It's really only a waiting area not a parking area as commonly understood.
But, can you still wait there overnight

I'd risk it , although alot of cars/vans passing by you on the way to the ferry

You also have to pubs near the port...... cushions taggot and cullatins in kilrane.... better than parking on the port road

As said, we've parked there after the last evening ferry has left a good few times pre Covid-19.
Just wondering is it still OK. We don't mind the morning traffic as it gets us up and we just join the queue.

You are not in the one way system and can exit to the checkin area when convenient. There were motorhomes parked there in Saturday when we arrived.
