I know it’s probably a long shot but does anyone, ideally north of the border know of a nursing bitch, we have just lost mum and have 4 orphaned JR pups which are only 4 days old

We got a nursing mother who took to the pups, latching them on and cleaning etc. unfortunately something went wrong during the night and the nursing mother killed 3 of the 4. However we have found another who so far is doing great with remaining pup. These pups were only a couple of days old so hand rearing was really not an option as they need a mum type figure to keep them fed, warm and clean. Figures crossed for the sole survivor of this horrible situation

Just by way of an update, the new foster mum did really well for just over a week then rejected him by taking him outside ans leaving him. Joyce, the woman looking after him was frantic with worry but found him and we took him home and have been hand rearing ever since.

It’s like having a new baby in the house with feeding peeing and pooping every three to four hours round the clock, but lovely to see him getting bigger daily.
