Came across this, might be handy if travelling abroad. I think some countries require more stuff but this is a start.

I think Italy is a bit OTT with the board for overhanging bikes. If one works loose and comes off it could be very dangerous. What would you rather have flying down the motorway towards you, a piece of 600mm X 600mm aluminium or corriboard ? In Portugal AFIK it's illegal to even have a dashcam anywhere in the vehicle even if it's not connected.
