Hi, I dont have a paypal account, and dont want one. I tried to pay by card but this seems to revert to paypal. How do I pay by credit/debit card?

Franco, there should be an option to pay without creating a paypal account, they do try and hide it. I am afraid this is the only way to pay by card. It would be too costly to implement any other means to pay by card.

Might be handy to just have a cheque payment option. users could contact Admin and send an £8 cheque payment or pop €10 in an envelope to the CL address Ally. Just an idea

If someone uses the paypal subscription it will automatically pay that at the same time the following year.

Some made donations etc before the subscription option was in place so some are not automatic. I trust those members will renew/subscribe when needed.

Glad to see this topic aired. Also tried to renew but baulked at the PayPal requirement and then forgot about it. Must discuss with resident younger expert one of these days.

hi. i have a problem, i requested how to pay by cheque and you very kindley sent me the details along with one or two welcome remarks, when i open the master page to log in i have found that all my details are missing, i have to fill in the log in details ie. user name, password, have found my name etc. on the user list also the welcome on the 30-6-12 ??????????

Ken, not sure what you mean, are you saying the website does not remember your details? Have you checked the "remember me" box? Or are you saying you have paid and not been added to subscribed group?

Ally, was logged in under my Robbie account tonight and went to answer a post re warranty for those effected by the sad demise of Savilles but could not reply as my account had been removed from the subscribed users and I have more than 55 posts so cannot post. I have had no emails nor pm that is maybe time for a renewal so it could be that the account has been caught up in the error that a few users have had lately.
Can you look into this please as I sent a text earlier with no reply, if its time for another €10 annual payment let me know and I'll get that credited to your paypal account

With the new subscription via paypal everyone pays automatically on their due date.
