At €6.5m you would have thought they could have spent a little more on the colour scheme.

If you could afford one of them, what in the name of, would you want one for, sure you would have to get someone to drive it.and how would you get the car out of Dick's field in winter,

Erebus, They are called flat-jack, each bag can hold 5 tons when inflated to 1.2 bar. He demonstrated pumping them up with a hand pump. €100 at the show and €119 normally. www.flat-jack.nl. Said he would do show price and post to NI free if ordered on line before Sun.

One for the ladies or guys who like to dry their hair. The box fits over a heater outlet, you plug it into 12 volt and a fan then drys your hair.

I have tried everything to rotate the photo but its not working

God help him. He’s raking it in for a field with shag all facilities, and he can’t afford a bit of top soil and grass seed to repair it, never mind an actual hard core drive. Greed imo

Could not agree more Daffy, there is also membrane that can be laid on the ground and the grass grows through it.
Yes that comes at a cost,so is greed taking over?

Well he must have something going for him, it’s always full.
He was one of the first to open up for camper vans on any scale, like that, and in fairness the camper van folk are a loyal bunch.
He has never invested in the place and does now appear to be getting more rigid and rules based, while not reinvesting anything back into the place. IMO Norman view has installed a much better infrastructure, which makes conditions a lot better for the end user, therefore places like that get my support, if I wish to use that type of facility.

Well I suppose it makes more business sense to ban a few large offending vehicles than spending thousands on repairing the field, if the field gets damaged there is no quick repair. In all fairness I think he has enough spent on it, any further expenditure would give him an excuse to to rise prices. I have to agree it isn’t the same friendly field it once was, all rules and regulations now, there was a time you would meet numerous friends every time you went there, that has changed, they are all over in Frank’s field now. Whether we like the place or not it is our own decision to go there or not, at least he is taking 100 plus Motorhomes off the side of the road, that must be a good thing. I have to agree with David, Norman view is far more relaxed place to Holiday, so is Frank’s field. Bannow bay is another lovely spot but been met at the gate with two pages of rules, regulations and a visit every morning offering scones and jam for sale puts me off a bit. If the scones were for sale at the gate, I’d go over if I wanted them. The lady there is lovely but I think she is trying too hard, I like my space.
