Hi Guys and Girls been a while since I have posted but any advice on where to get insurance as my renewal is the end of the month.

I curently am insured through Dolman but was just wondering where everyone else got theirs and if they feel it to be good value, my renewel has came in at £290 which I know isnt bad but if i can get it less all the better.

Cheers Gary

Try elsewhere and you will be shocked at how cheap you are currently paying.

This sounds like a good price for insurance anyway. I have looked them up and bookmarked them for future reference.

Would be interesting to know what Stuarts will be this year. I'm insured with them through the IMCC but you have to pay the membership fee of 40 euros to get insured. I see from the last IMCC magazine that Stuarts is 324 euros this year.

A lot of the insurers in the camping and motorhome magazines won't touch Northern Ireland as I'm sure some of you have found out. Caravan Guard will but insist on a yearly milage limit. As I was wanting to exceed their limit which was 7500 miles and because I did last year with their reluctant agreement and additional payment, they declined to do the same this year.

So I'm now with Dolmen too.

I had a disagreement with a metal bollard on Westport quayside. Dolmen settled with no quibble. my friend also with Dolmen lost a brand new van in the floods in England again they settled no quibble.
dont think you can do much better.
