What would you say is the most challenging part of living in a motorhome? How do you go about it? Would you trade your motorhome for a $2M worth mansion?

Trade yes, then sell the mansion and buy a nicer van!

At the moment will trade for a 3 bed bungalow, as long as it has room to park the lovely new shiny posh van when I sell my house.

When you say living in a motorhome, you mean full time living?

Don't get me wrong, I love my van dearly but I don't think I could full time living on it. With the 2 of us working from home full time, our little 3 bed (2 and a half really) semi detach feels smaller and smaller, I couldn't even consider living on the van. Surely I can make a long term vacation with no problem, but if you throw day to day routine and work, there's no way.

And yes, of course I'll trade my van for a house. Even a simple one will make me money :)

Really which country would that be in?

I presume that its in dollars so thinking the US. so the answer is definitely NO not even if the gave me the same in cash to go with it.

We really did consider moving to the west coast of Ireland as that is usually where we are drawn to when we come over.

Think we will stick to England or at a push Wales but that in itself is bad enough because we cant decide whether to stay in Somerset or move to the Cotswolds.

Can see us rattling around this place until the men come with a big wooden box.

I thing I'd go to the Cotswold, that way, you would have two favourite places, places to holiday,by the coast, and the ferries are not too far away.

Hey all. Thank you for your responses.

That's clever. Ok, but what if you can't sell the house and no more van ever.

Yip, I mean living full time. But yeah, not I really don't think it's ideal especially for families. Maybe fun in the beginning as there's a sense of adventure but it could also burn you out in the long run?
