Possibly the worst customer service I have experienced in 50 years. Don't return phone calls, late for car collection by 30 minutes with no apology. Tried to hoodwink another £199 then laughed it off when caught on.

This was an Electric car purchase, the car wasn't even charged, ran out of power on the way home and had to get a recovery truck to continue the journey.

Had no "handover" on the car whatsoever, obviously electric cars are new to us all at this time. You would think dealers would get to know them, not Autozone - they leave it up the customer to find out absolutely everything. Said "why didnt you stop and charge it" errr, I hadn't a clue how too : / and as found out later, I couldn't off, you need a card to operate the public charge point.

"We'll get all our EV customers to telephone you for advice"

The list of bad service is incredible.

Most definitely not recommended - AVOID at all costs!

In saying all of the above, there is icing on the cake, the car is great. It needed a proper cleaning as they left residue all over it, yet its mean to have a protective coating at £300 :/

But it is a fantastic car. :D

Kia Soul EV.

We were going in and out of town all day, work and pleasure, using a stupid amount of diesel for what we needed. It made perfect sense.

The first Heart stroke when he saw the price, and the second when he saw the remaining battery power, luckily there was a Defibrillator available for both him and the car 😂🤣😃🤣😂

Oh yes indeed, I've had the pleasure to be in the passenger seat of one of these, but only because the owner wouldn't let me drive it. Obviously too comfortable in the comfy seat. Surprisingly nippy, and good for the planet.

What kinda milage to a full charge?

I know its a lot to do with the nut behind the wheel but driven normally,

A friend has a Datsun Leaf ev and gets roughly 80 miles if its a dry warm day, if the heater and wipers are used it effects the range a bit,

93, but of course absolutely everything uses the battery so the more you switch on the less miles.

I considered all of this and it's more than enough miles for what we are doing, very short stop start journeys.

After every three or four short trips i plug it in on the driveway which is very easily and quickly done.

The new Kia Soul does 280 miles but it's £35k.

I find the regeneration braking is amazing for the short trips, we leave it in B instead of D all the time, it's 95% one pedal driving and of course it's recharging the battery a bit.

I went to Belfast yesterday and the hill down the M2 into Belfast from Antrim, it was putting charge back in the whole way down it.

I had an outlander with a 12kw batt in it, the regen braking is fab, also ally a lot of the leccy companies have a special rate for ev owners at night ( day night meter required),down south i think energia is best with 5 cents a kw, best of luck going forward :)

meant for home use, either a home charger or the granny(3 pin plug) charger,if you have a zappi charger and solar panels you can charge it for free at home too,but if not the cheaper rates for night charging are worth a look bud :)
