1994 Fiat Ducato motorhome

Have a leak on front left wheel brake hose/lines another leak back right wheel.
My question, went down Mick's garage putting my reg number and searched for or brake lines where parts came up, k seeing these lines are cooper on vehicle though when ordering hose lines it's not copper which is on the vehicle ..guessing they're updated, out with the copper!!
Another problem I may have is removing the Flack nuts from the wheel as can be seen , there fair bit of corrosion..
Appreciated Martin

Got there before me Eamon, I was about to point it out as well.
looks like a lot of corrosion under the vehicle.
worth it, to have someone give it a serious look.

Regarding flaring tools ..what number ya think it could be (9)(10)(11),seen single wrenchs in Halfords(no set) may grab when passing ,

Heard to add flame torch on on flare nuts before remove them , may get some expansion.. they look really corroded , don't want the flare wrench to slip nut.

The question regarding this technique is after I ad the flame to the flare nut.. should straight after spray it with WD40 or some sort of spray to seep through after the expansion from the heat..

You need the 9 / 11mm one.

If you're replacing rusty old brake lines, I would highly recommend replacing the the brake cylinders and do a complete flush of brake fluid as it's most likely completely contaminated with rust (ask me how I know...)

The cylinders are very inexpensive and certainly worth doing, you can get the whole drum kit that includes shoes, all the hardware and the cylinders for a very decent price.

I recently got this kit which fits the 3rd gen models but just to give you an idea:

reading this a thought came to mind from watching old wheeler dealers ect. not sure if its right but if you were going to all the trouble replacing cylinders.lines, pads, mounts, would it be an idea to upgrade to disks(if drums) as sometimes there are kits available,i could be wrong and i am sure there are guys here much better at this than i am,as i said just a thought!

When you say "upgrade" you mean going for the Brembo brake kit?? :D :D

It's a bit of going down the rabbit whole there, if there's still meat on the pads and discs are within spec, I wouldn't touch them. If the calipers are not leaking and when you flush them you don't see rusty fluid, I wouldn't touch them.

Otherwise, you'll end up doing a full restoration, everything could be replaced but it'll only look shinny for 50kms and there'll be no noticeable performance improvements unless there was a problem to begin with.

some of the older motorhomes have drum brakes, esp. on the back and i thought if that was the case an upgrade to disks might be an idea

Nah, there's no need to have disc brakes on the back of the van. Drum brakes are more than suitable for what they do and the conversion would be very expensive with no performance gain in my opinion.
