Just learned of the death of Jerry Kiernan. He was my schoolteacher for 3 years in Primary. Hard to believe such a fit man dead at 67. I met him a few years ago and he looked great. What a great teacher he was....He had a heavy emphasiss on sports and athletics in our school week....I will never forget having him as our coach at Santry Stadium.
