I dont know anything about any of the brands you are looking at, but the best piece of advice I could give is to look at as many different vans as possible as everyone of them will have something different about them. Some things you will like and others you wont and its usually a case of finding something which suits your needs as closely as possible. One thing to consider if you are contemplating a trip to Europe is cab aircon as during the summer it can get very hot when driving along as well as cruise control for longer spells of motoring.

I got my first motorhome this year after having caravans for years and it was only after spending nearly a full day at Donaghy's that I found the layout which suited me best (fixed french bed, low profile) and then set about finding a van with that layout.

Keep us posted of how the search is going and I'm sure others will be able to advise on whats good bad or indifferent about each one.

you seem to have the type of style you want sorted so now decide how much you want to spend you will never get a van with all the things you want no matter how long you look make sure you get a valid MOT/DOE cert with the van and good luck with search
PS your a cash buyer at this time of year so push your luck

Great advice above

No matter what you will have to compromise as no van is perfect. The trick is compromising on the things you can live with and live without. Everyone has different needs for their bus so it's all down to personal choice and lifestyle.

As for makes, i'm sorry but I can't really advise you on them.

Anyway, good luck with the search and take your time. The searching is just as exciting as the camping so enjoy :D

Like yourself I went round them all and I ended up buying one from the above link the sales man was excellent and his aftercare service has been second to none. I had a couple of little problems that were sorted out quickly and efficiently. Also you've no trade in would it not be better to buy privately to get a better deal ?
