It's the school car park. I think it would not be useable school hours obviously. It's a lovely spot.

@Daffysparks

Added your POI to the app, remove the one close to it?

Aye, the harbour has a sign as in the photo at the entrance to the harbour. The entrance to the “school??” Car Park has a sign for Motorhome parking

The other one isnt the harbour, it seems to be a layby at the bridge. Probably worth removing.

👍

There is a pull in other side of canal on the side of the road. It is still accessible, but if the village is steering us into this car park, it makes sense to use it. The red dot on the app for the harbour is in the wrong place. It’s the harbour one I think should be removed as it has no MH parking sign

Clondara was always welcoming to motorhomes. It's great that they have designated a place for us to park rather shutting us out completely.

Hopefully everyone will obey the signs and park in the designated area.

Sorry just wondering @Daffysparks is it not car park for"school??" as I was led to believe it was. So we are ok to park during school hours do you think?

Apparently a local Fianna Fail councillor had received some complaints about motorhomes parking but he wanted council to provide parking for motorhomes with the revenue they bring

I honestly don’t know the answer. It shows MH parking there, no time restrictions. Big car park, perhaps 25-30 cars. I guess it might be busy at drop off and pick up times, but otherwise can’t see it being full

Hopefully it has been made dedicated motorhome parking @Daffysparks. It's a nice spot.
