Meath Eco park

Test to see if I can load a photo and to show you a pic of Meath Eco from Wednesday morning this week. Lovely setting. Price €20 for 2 people €25 with ehu, showers and toilets currently closed. 2 fresh eggs delivered to your van. I believe it’s open all year. You need to phone to gain entry.

For those that fish there were loads of trout in the lake.
18 ehu points, pitches vary and I’m guessing it’s a work in progress. Nice walks, great for dogs, a little bit of road noise but over all I liked the site and would go back. Close to motorways and not far from Dublin.

I knew the previous incarnation Rayhbeggan Lakes was there and was closed down due to insurance costs. I don't think they ever did overnight parking / camping. Interesting development.

If it was previously Rathbeggan lakes they did have an area for overnighting. It was a great place but unfortunately they were having problems with the amount of insurance claims.
