Dont know if anyone has been yet (sad I know) but was there for some supplies after being bribed with a KFC and noticed that it isnt the most motorhome freindly of places. You can only get in and out by coming in/out at the Northway and not from the Bridge St/Lurgan Road side as they have put up height barriers at all of the entrances even at the petrol station.

Thats most likely to stop lorries and other commercial vehicles using it as a short cut as its really handy. Quite correct though its not the best for us in the campers

Lidl seem to be the Motorhome friendly grocery shop.

I have emailed them recently congratulating them on there friendliness towards Motorhomers, no time limits and no restrictions. They responded well. perhaps if we all done it...

The problem with Portadown going through the town from bridge street or heading towards Armagh or Dungannon u hit a one way system that even at the best of times is slow to get round, peak times its a real nightmare. With the new Asda you can cut straight across onto the Northway and get away a lot faster. Id bet in this case thats why they have put the barriers up rather than to put people off.
Must admit we hadnt noticed the barriers as we have just been in the car so far :-) Typical you never notice whats on your front door =)
Asking the question wouldn't hurt though and your spot on about Lidl.

Not on google earth yet either lol

Seems to be a different story down South. In Killarney Co Kerry. And Mallow Co Cork. They seem to have a clamping company employed.

Having said that these are the only two that I have seen these signs in.

Oh dear.

They seem to get congratulated on the GB forums also for their friendliness towards Motorhomers. Looks like the Southern Area manager needs a lesson in attracting bussines. 🇧🇭
