The 3 DATA sim 24gb valid for 24 months is currently £37.79 (usually £45) offer usually only lasts for a day or so.

Whew that’s a lot of options, being more academically capable than me which would you recommend for Europe to download/stream. All them figures and info flummoxed me🥺

Works out at €44 delivered to a ROI address and comments on Amazon suggest it's capped at 12 GB in the EU which is a shame. However I don't think there is any better deal for ROI. I was thinking of using it for a tracking device as well as a bit of internet for the mh.

As far as I know most mobile contracts have a cap of between 12 and 15 gb of data when roaming.

Just be careful, I think a certain usage has to be done in the UK before you can roam. Unless they have done away with that.

The sim can be activated outside the Uk, but usage seems to be capped at under 20gb, although I think this is people using it for streaming etc. I find I can get the full 24gb as I don’t stream.
Most of these sims that offer roam like home work on the basis of usage for short holiday or short business trips abroad. If the sim is not turned on again in the Uk after a trip away, it continues to assume that it is abroad and can (if my memory is correct) stop working after 90 days under their fair usage terms.
