Went for a couple of days away last Thurs /Fri, St Anne's (near Blackpool) has a couple of car parks with 10 marked out bays for Motorhomes so we opted for the North Beach car park which is a 15 min walk into the centre. Here is a direct path to a massive beach where i knew we would be able to keep away from masses. Friday was a sunny day and it turned out busier than a bank holiday with the car park full and a car managing to get in the space between me an the next van . We went into town for a walk for a few hours and couldn't believe that a motorhome had squeezed into the space that the car had been in before we left.( he did move over a bit when the Camper left later ) Glad there wasn't a fire!!!!. Apart from that it is a great parking spot at £7 for 24 hours even though there are no facilities.(there is a dedicated sluice for black waste in a car park a bit closer to town with a dedicated parking bay next to it for £1)
