Morning Craic'ers!
Out on our first trip of the year (finally!) Woke up to a small leak from our toilet sink, It is coming from the trap, I have tried to attach images and it won't allow. Just the simple screw on bottom, I have taken it off, cleaned and retightened to no avail. Just wondering have any of you had this problem previously and if so how did you fix? Thinking just some plumbers mate or similar?
Thanks in advance

Is it the seal from the piece that goes trough the sink or the gland nut on the U-bend which normally would have an O-ring and wedge washer.
Eitherways dry off and apply silicone .
check that the gland nuts are not cracked/split.

where have you headed out to?.

If its rubber that is letting water through,
As Sprinter has posted above clean and dry it, as a quick fix to get you over the weekend put a bit of butter on the rubber seals to soften them and reassemble,

Thank you Gentleman! Problem sorted :) On further investigation it was actually coming from the joint were get trap meets the sink, Only held with one screw so took off, cleaned and added some plumbers mate while at it, tightened up and back in business

And Sprinter you should know me by now, Never like to venture too far afield 😂 Just down in Redcross this weekend... I always like to do a shorter trip for our first outing incase of any unforseen issues from the van lying up. But off to Kilkenny next week, And debating between Dick's Field or Kilmore Quay for the following, So would love to hear your thoughts

Great your now officially a
MH Plumber 😁

For me I'd try Norman View or Kilmore Quay . but make your decision on where you can get in. you will not get an EHU pitch in Norman View, they are all booked out for the rest of the Summer. I would think Dick,s field the same. don,t know anything about Kilmore.
As things stand you will need to call them to check if you can get in, I don,t your van size will make any difference.

The children will have fun no matter.
