Leisure Battery Ducato 2003

Leisure battery not charging, replaced fuse by no difference. One thing puzzling me is the wires and connector not connected!
A. What are they and where should they be connected?
B. Anything else I should check before wrestling with taking the seat out and replacing battery?

Is this a new to you van ,it can't charge if it's not connected ,s few more pictures would help
