I have a Telair/Yamaha 2500B petrol generator that I’ve never managed to get working. The initial issue was that the control panel in the van wasn’t powering the generator. Then the engine needed some work due to lack of use. Recently got the engine back in action but now the control panel seems to be acting up moreso than before!
After re-wiring everything for testing before putting it back into the van, the panel now isn’t getting any power at all. Previously it was getting power but wouldn’t engage the starter.
Wondering if anyone has one of these generators and if so, any experience with fixing them? Telair aren’t very helpful and I’ve resorted to Google translating a German user manual and wiring diagram! Might need to replace the control panel but it’s such an old model, I doubt I’ll have much luck finding one.
Any help/advice would be mucho appreciated!
