Does anyone know if Kilmore Quay is open? Tried ringing and email with no success. Looks from website that they are not taking bookings until further notice due to Covid but may be out of date. Any news appreciated.

I heard that there was to be a decision on her planning issue early this week. I haven’t heard what the outcome of that is though.... if there has been one

Well that’s great news. I guess she won. The locals, and local businesses were going mad about her being stopped.... and, by the local councillor. I have it on fairly good authority that he has been told not to run again, cos he won’t get in.
Anyway. Brilliant. She is a nice lady.

The difficulties with the council could possibly have arisen because the grant of planning was for the 'Development of a Motor Home Park to Cater for 26 No. Motor Homes' but the facility was being operated in the manner of a regular Caravaning and Camping Park which must satisfy different regulations and planning requirements.
That is correct, however I think, not sure though, that it was in relation to a change of use, and for the overflow field. Apparently no planning for this
