I just saw that Mike's place is listed on safe nights and thought i'd plug him...

If you ever get a chance, stop here.

Mike is a legend in the VW world but will welcome anyone as long as your drinking !!

There's actually a big VW meetup there this weekend.

He has a good sized carpark, it is on a hill but that's never bothered us.

The pub is absolutley savage, kind of olde worldy place where you can't take your eyes off all the nick nacks.

As a seasoned Guinness connoisseur  the Guinness is pretty much the best i've tasted and my tongue is usually hanging out a good day or two before we get there.

Mike will regail you with stories and there's usually a bit of music and singing at some point.

It's also a great spot to use as a base while visiting Dingle, Slea Head, Connor Pass and all that the Kingdom has to offer.

Only concern is it's on a fast and busy road with no gates for those of you with young kids.

Otherwise....enjoy :D

He's some legend alright. We used to stay a minute down the road as young kids and nothing has changed since then. I think he still has the dog too
