Parking a Motorhome at Dublin Airport

Hi All

I have to get 4 adults plus a heap of luggage to Dublin Airport from Malin Co.Donegal, I was thinking of taking them in the motorhome, do you know if I can park there with the motorhome if not anywhere close that I can park and get a taxi?

Was trying to get a hire vehicle but having problems getting a automatic that will carry all the people and luggage.

you can park in any of the carparks around the airport and put all the luggage in the free shuttle bus at the parking area , your camper wont fit in any of the short term parking areas in the airport itself its too large ( the van not the airport ) there used to be a setdown stop at the departures area if you are just dropping passengers off but you cant stay there

Bewleys Airport Hotel is a good spot for parking and getting free shuttle 24 hr to airport. Have seen a few Motorhomes parked here. 1500 short term parking spots here.

All sorted going down the day before they can stay at Bewleys we can stay in motorhome.

Cookie, am I right in reading that you are going to stay in the Motorhome in Bewley's CarvPark?

Hi Jack
Was going to stay in motorhome but decided to get a room as we were with my wifes parents and they need a lot of care, would not see any problem sleeping in there as it is a secure car park with barries, for any who might need a hotel thought it was a good deal €100 for room,dinner and full breakfast for 2 plus free shuttle to and from airport.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I have to pick someone up at the airport next week in the motorhome and on the DAA website could find nothing about parking the van. I emailed the parking people and got a nice reply back from them saying that we can use the airport coach park - take a ticket on entry and pay in the terminal before leaving - its short term only but so long as your not overnight they don't have a problem with a motorhome there. Likewise any of the surface car parks.

Hope that this may be useful to someone besides myself.
