Mystery Switches and Controls

Hi All,
In Jan I bought a 1999 Ford Rimor Superbrig 648. Any idea what the brown switch just inside the camper door is for? The Leisure battery is being drained by something and I just can't figure it. Any link to a manual for the camper would be much appreciated,

Thanks G

Switches just inside the door are usually for lights or an electric step

If the switch is for a auto step.
The step could be jamming and the electric motor could be trying to retract the step and motor running the battery flat worth a check
