Water pump not working

 ·

Hi. We have a German built LMC motorhome and there is a problem with the water pump. Pump is fine but it's not getting the 12v power when any taps (kitchen, bathroom or shower) are opened. The whole electric setup is controlled by a Schaudt 630 control block and apparently there are other linked control units for the pump, heating, fridge, water & waste tank and the TV/satellite.
The problem is I can't find the smaller control units only the wires from the master control disappearing into the bodywork.
Anyone got any thoughts or ideas? Or any knowledge what dealers would handle LMC vans in Ireland?
Thanks, Michael.

Sorry, I’m not familiar with that setup. However I’m confident someone will be along shortly that can help you. A few photos would really help. Does it definitely work off micro switches at the taps, and not through a flow/ pressure switch.

Hi. Thanks for the replies. Definitely works on micro switches. You can still hear them click when you open the taps.
I've downloaded the English instruction manual of Schaudt EBL630 directly from their website. This lists the various bus modules for heating, etc. The fuses are all good. Attached are photos and the instruction manual. Thanks for the suggestions.

That looks like pressurised water system , there's no micro switches at the taps if it is
Is the pump making a working noise ?

I think those pumps can work on both systems. Looks like a shurflo pump which I had on a previous van with micro switches

To my mind the filter glass should be the other way. ie. under the filter. Having it that way could give you an air lock. But I’m unsure which way is up by that photo

Thanks for all the replies.
The pump is working when I supply it with power from a separate battery/source.not from the 12V installation. Definitely should work on micro switches (I meant to say that it should be working not that it is working). Not a pressurised system. No problem with the water filter it is in exactly the same position it has been for the last 4 years. It is a SHURflo pump. I think it is a control problem. The micro switches are not controlling the power output to the pump or the control panel has a broken 12V circuit. I need to know where the control to the pump is found.
Any other ideas welcome. Thanks.

That’s looks identical to mine, but I don’t have micro switches. I thought the small black box under the pump was the flow switch. Can you check for a 12v supply coming into that box.

Again thanks for the replies. I've managed to find the control module hidden under the floor under the water pump. They put these things in places that obviously they don't want or expect you to find them. Anyway no joy, No 12V output. Looks like a problem with the module, perhaps the flashing red led is a sign. A phone call to Germany tomorrow morning is the next step.
