Got email yesterday from Irish Ferries offering, Exclusive 10% OFF FRANCE sailings for 2013 with that email. We are thinking of going late June and they are cheaper than Celtic.
It seems to be for past customers Colin.
Have you booked before Colin?
My parent never got it and they go across at least once a year. sometimes twice. He is emailing them to ask why

Really.
I must have got a different email.
Mine had a link to click. No code.
They must have a few going on at the moment.
My mistake, sorry about that.

Mark, mine had a link to click too, but on the bottom of the first page (near the continue button) of the booking process there was a box with the promotion code in it. You need to be in the France 2013 summer booking application.
My discount email will work until 16 th December but we will not know the wife's holidays until after that.

Yes 16th Dec. seems to be the deadline, It might be extended if they have a poor responce?? We booked for late June/ early July and took out Flexibility Option for 15 euro which is suppose to allow us to amend our booking free of charge, should we have any difficulty with dates etc. as June is a long way away and anything could crop up. Maybe if you contact them they might do something for you.
Still will work out a tad cheaper using the flexi addition on this offer, good idea all round. The only down side to it in the fine print you can only change if they have availability on the sailings you want to change to, If the date has to be changed to a more peak time ie July and August you will get hit with the extra premium.
Also changing dates can present a problem with the cabins as the 2 star ones get booked fast so if changing you could end up having to book a far more expensive cabin or ending up in one of those chairs they charge for.

The 10% discount was extended last year, so you might be OK.
I paid up as per the offer last year, and the offer was subsequently extended. They made a screw up of their website terms and conditions in extending the offer which made me feel that I had shelled out money before I needed to.
I complained and they gave me a further 10% discount. Doubt if t5hat will happen again.
I am also trying to get holiday dates squared up as well, so I might have to gamble.

I wonder why? It seems to be much cheaper to go either Belfast/Stranraer/Birkenhead/Dover Calais than Rosslare/Roscoff. That is also taking in the fuel that one would use.

Hi all
Having traveled to France for the last 15+ years sometimes twice in the in the same year going through the UK is a lot more expensive. Last year I paid 340e, traveling in early July returning end August with Celtic link.
Going across the Irish sea, 600mile through UK crossing the English channel, cost a lot more

Agree with Taylor, Rory is fantastic, he works with MotorhomeCraic also for our 10% discount, so just mention Motorhomecraic when you are on the phone.
July and August is really expensive Jack but June and sept is way cheaper, we booked this year with Irish sea for most of June and it cost approx £400 and once we come back in June we will book our free trip to the Uk and most likely spend 2 or 3 weeks down in devon/dorset, cormwall direction. So for £400 on ferries for 2 holidays is hard to beat.

Robbie that will be great for us after June as I am retiring so can take advantage not only of the full bus pass but cheaper ferries as we absolutely love France.

We got the latest email too.
Thank goodness! I hadn't made a booking as we were waiting for the wife's work to confirm holiday dates.
School holidays are always much more expensive.
I hope to be going to France for 2 weeks in March and 3 weeks in July.
FINGERS CROSSED. LOL
