240v Hookup problem

Hi, i wonder has anyone had this problem, my camper works fine on 12v but when i connect to
240 hook up nothing happens, have changed hook up leads but nothing.
There is no light on the interior panel to indicate external power working when cable is connected
Have tried trip switch and reset button but nothing
Dont want to start dismantling electrics as not my thing
Have checked all the fuses and they are all ok
I think it could be an internal electrical or wiring problem
It was working fine 2 weeks ago
Has anybody any ideas or suggestions
Thanks
D

Could be the cable. Do you have a multimeter?

Did you check the trip switch inside the MH?

Definitely a trip switch, fuse cable, or possibly a wire pulled out of the plug or socket

Have you checked the source of your electric? Is it a socket outside your house? Could that have tripped?

Have checked the trip switch and test button but all seem well
Also lead coming in from outside is tight and secure
I think it might be an internal issue in electric hook up
Ihave a multimeter but may as well be looking into a ditch as trying
to work it
External power supply has not tripped
Changed hook up lead twice

To my way of thinking that's even worse, electricity dose not fix itself, you have no idea when or where it will let you down again, you still have a fault or your doing something wrong , an intermittent fault is the hardest to find.you could have a break in the cable which has arked itself together and when a load comes on it it will burn apart again.
You really should find where the fault was /is .
Start with the extension cables look for any sharp indents or cut's , where the cable clamps are in the plug and socket you could have a break under the clamp. If you cant, get someone else to check the wiring in the back of the van socket for a bad connection, the action of pushing the plug in may move the pins about giving a loose connection.
