Just thinking that I'd like to be sat in Satir Indian Restaurant in Carlingford,
Chicken madra in front of me,
Bottle of tiger beer with condensation running down the bottle,
Watching the sunset ,
But that's just me,

I would have liked to of been planning for 4 more days work to take me up to next Thursday then 8days in Portugal.
That is now history so house bound instead.

I would like to be visiting Maureen in Hospital after she has had her new Knee fitted.
Oh course I would then be able to come home to peace and quiet before the real work begins looking after her.

Kids mid term, had planned to take the week off.
We were supposed to be hitting the road, probably yesterday morning until Easter Monday.
Loose plan was night number 1 in Cobh, then west Cork and Kerry. It's the contingency summer holiday now if our August 1st ferry to France is a non runner.

You all will probably think I'm Looney,
I like being just where I am, we always prefeer the winter in the Hook, it's pissing outside and blowing a gale, the fire is lit, the house is warm, we are listening to the radio . We just had dinner, stir fry of leftover lamb, from last night. Susie says I did so good on the last two nights that if I do dinners she will do breakfast and lunch.but that's all right too because I like to cook anyway, I think it always puts a definite end to the working day, otherwise I could be out till dark.

This came in on a message today, quite poignant really :

We fell asleep in one world, and woke up in another.
Suddenly Disney is out of magic, Paris is no longer romantic, New York doesn't stand up anymore, the Chinese wall is no longer a fortress, and Mecca is empty.
Hugs & kisses suddenly become weapons, and not visiting parents & friends becomes an act of love.
Suddenly you realise that power, beauty & money are worthless, and can't get you the oxygen you're fighting for.
The world continues its life and it is beautiful. It only puts humans in cages. I think it's sending us a message:
"You are not necessary. The air, earth, water and sky without you are fine. When you come back, remember that you are my guests. Not my masters."

Should be off to Spain with my daughter, all my family and friends for her wedding in Spain... BUT we are compiling a funny video for the bride and groom to be to enjoy. All the guests are taking part, doing something to give them a smile.
