Ours has a USB port below the heater controls. Plug in a 8gb stick and go into settings. Think it something like format memory stick for upgrade or similar. Then sign up for Tomtom account on your computer. Plug memory stick and it should recognise it, as if it was your sat nav. Then pay a lot of money and get the new map. After that it’s back to the van. Plug in usb and select install new map.
It’s been 4 years since I did it for free with the new van. So I might be slightly out.
