Anyone want to share any?

Some have been posted on the site but they are all mainly in the South, I want to try some Wildcamping

- not pubs please, something nice and remote.

Judith and I wildcamp most of the time around NI. Co. Fermanagh is excellent. Around both upper and lower Lough Erne there are hundreds of suitable stopping points many remote and some a bit more public but all with fantastic views.
A favourite of mine is in the park on the way to Garrison. It is Forestry property and the gates are locked at night but the staff have no problem with you staying inside. The viewpoint carpark is a bit exposed and windy but the next carpark along is sheltered and comfortable. It even has a memorial stone to honour lost airmen from WW2 flyingboats. The view across the lough is stunning as you are so high up, you can see Donegal on a clear morning.

Donegal WC Spots

1. Northern end of Tullagh Bay (5km past Clonmany), slightly bumpy on way down to spot but right on beach
2. Stroove Beech car part (5km past Greencastle)
3. Cruit Island (about 2km before golf course) on RHS in flat/firm grass
4. On grass headland past Ostan Gweedore Hotel in Bunbeg
5.

Sorry no co-ords for these but I have used them all with no hassle. All beach sites

Ally...why don't you keep these spots as a database similar to the WC forum? Eventually you could perhaps then consider a similar free/full membership after the site matures?

If I can just add a few comments?

Quoile Downpatrick - there are several car parks you would be better in one of the two smaller ones at the far end of the Quoile towpath - from the Quoile bridge drive passed the luxury appartments and turn left and left again (into Quay road) if you keep on going there are two lovely very quite and out of the way carparks with nice views of the river the only problem is that they both have a bit of a slope.
take a look on google earth!

Ballintoy harbour - perhaps not recomended for larger vans very steep twisty road down to the harbour in a big van it would not be for the faint hearted!

Island Hill - used to be a dogging spot dont know if it still is but though you should know!

You might try the car park at Delamont country park (in the off season only) I have seen vans there a couple of times (one was a huge American job) there is a charge (£4) but they only take it between Easter and the start of September the rest of the year its free (except some weekends)

Yes thats one of them there is another very similar to it a couple of hundred yards further along Quay Road. (54:21:20.15N 5:41:37.80W)

There is also a large layby and large carpark on the Quoile Road but they are a bit exposed and liable to "attract attention"

Think that's were Mark and I stayed before we knew about the other ones.
