Motorhome carpet

Our carpet in the Motorhome is a nightmare to hoover! I can hoover the house quicker than I can hoover the Motorhome!

Everything just clings to it, fluff, dog hair etc.

Anyone else's the same?

I don't think mine has a decent floor covering below the carpet, think it is just the wood of the floor.

Thats the first thing Carol wants to change in our camper. It's fitted with carpet tiles at the mo, which are a real dirt trap.

We were thinking about fitting a laminate wood floor, but when we started looking we found some very convincing vinyl floor covering that'd look great too...

I cant speask for how easy the carpet is to hoover - Ive never done it (she who must be obeyed does that sort of stuff) but I do question the sense of putting in a cream carpet - two step across a muddy gravel path and the marks are there until you take it out and shampoo it!

I would have thought laminate floor was far to heavy for a MH - good quality vinyl either as sheet or tiles (less waste) would be better
