Hi All, I need to be in Dublin city center before 8 AM next week and need overnight parking near the DART or Luas, preferably on the south side of the city. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated either wild camping or caravan park. Thanks in Advance.

There is a Dart station five minutes from Howth pier. Not sure if that is any good as it is North of the city.

Greystones Harbour beside Harbour Masters office is a good spot for wild camping. 5/7 minutes maximum walk to dart station. No problems here. :-)
Have seen vans parked up near their Bray Promenade. Not sure how safe here :-)

Thanks Guys for your help. I was thinking of staying at camac and driving up to the Red cow park and ride car park in the morning and take the Luas into town. the only problem is it will be 9.30 or 10pm before we get up the night before and what time do the recption close at Camac??
I was also thinking of staying at the prominade in bray and taking the dart into town. (we have parked on the prom in bray three or four times and never had a problem)

Bray promenade mid week wouldn't be a problem. I'd avoid it at weekends though. Howth or Greystones are both good bets.

Just back from Dublin, We took eirebus's advice and parked over night in the Luas car park at Red Cow, cost 4 euro for 24 hr. We had no problem what so ever except for a noisy Road Sweeper near morning time. The parking spaces are a bit small for a large Motorhome, ours is under 6.5 meters and was a bit too long. Thanks again for all Replies received.
