I've been visiting forum here since July but since I did not have a campervan I had little to add to discussion.
But after years of dreaming, and actively searching since April, we bought our first campervan last week and had our first night away on saturday, so now I feel part of the camper fraternity and ye are stuck with me now!
Spent the weekend in Westport and toured around for a couple of days and it is like we have been away for longer. After we got over the arguements about who was standing where in the van, the lack of plates and cups and the smoke alarm announcing that cooking had started, we relaxed and very much enjoyed ourselves, even if we are on a steep learning curve!!
So hopefully you will forgive me if there are a lot a basic questions on the way in the near future.
