The French are protesting because their government wants to raise the pension age from 62 to 64. Our government wants to raise it to 70. They don’t know how good they have it. 62!
The majority of people in this country are not dying quickly enough after getting their Pensions. so they are now trying to wear them out before they let them go.
Pensions were never calculated to last up to 20years or more after retirement.
It's usually only the ones who receive Government Pensions live to a good old age, I wonder why that is
Sprinter has got it in one, with the progression of modern medicine we are living longer and the pensions we are paid now are the tax on the earning of the present day workers. The taxes we paid were spent long ago by the government of that time. This coupled with the economic migration from the third world ,so what you see now in France will spread as there are not enough workers to balance the books.
