Folk, if I may, can I bring some clarity to the mis conception of drink in the body the morning after.... a bottle of white wine will need 9 hours to work it's way free from the breathalyzer from the time you finish the last drop. A pint of stout is 2.3 units each, so 6 pints is 14 units give or take, so that's 14 hours after you finish the last pint. 1 whiskey is 1 unit, so half a bottle is 15 units, so that's 15 hours after you finish the last glass. I've heard lads thinking that the body clock starts 1 hour after you start drinking! Don't get codded, the body clock only starts when you finish the last drop, and bare in mind the units you took on board determines the length of time you need to stay away from behind the wheel the next day. Hope this info helps.
