A big event to announce soon that will be like our open weekend at Donagheys were we had stop the vans at 100 but 200 might of been possible!

This event will be the same, limited to 100 vans due to venue size.

It's a joint meet with MHC, MHCC and Motorhome Ireland (FB group).

More details announced soon and it'll be first come first served. So keep your eyes peeled.😁

No Easter is 12th-13th April.

We’re in, bit of a trek but it’s a lovely time of the year and can make a few days of it.

For anyone that don’t know about Eyeries, it is a fabulous part of the Country. A few of us from MHC went there to the Aires first Anniversary event last year, we had a fabulous time, Colman the owner couldn’t do enough for us. The Aire is on the edge of the village which is colourfully painted and spotlessly clean. There are Two pubs I think, only visited one which had a large panoramic window overlooking the ocean, outside this window there was an outdoor drinking/recreational area wit its own takeaway Chipper. All in all it was one of the best weekends we had last year. It is a bit of a journey for some but well worth it. Northern Ireland Motorhomes were well represented at the meet.
Stick us on the list, Ally👍

A curious website they have there. No prices or details of facilities etc. I appreciate that you have published some sort of price list for the specific event, I wish the meet every success, but given the scant details of the park and the seemingly expensive rate, I doubt if I would use it through choice.

€10 per night for the Aire.

Failing on a thing that I think Colman won't mind me saying. Using facebook only for information and missing 50% of their audience, I helped Colman setup the google business site, which helps, but it needs the information posted to it.

Their facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/eyeriesmotorhomepark/

My father in laws take on shops was always “if there is no price tag on an item then that item is not for sale”. Not a bad concept and has probably saved me 2 fortunes as many jewellers don’t show prices!

€10 is a fair price but I reckon the guy is losing business potential, especially in the low season, but you obviously know this.

We where at the last meet at Colman’s as said before he couldn’t do enough for us and the village is beautiful with lovely walks down round the shore line it is only a 20 minute drive from Castletown and bere island there is also an Aire in Castletown we took time out to go shopping in glengarriff what a lovely spot again lovely walks around the woods great tourist shop we also had lunch there before coming back for the bbq ,looking forward to it this year, don’t know if Colman got round to it or not but he was talking of putting up a toilet and shower block if he did I’m my view it would make it one of the best motor home sites in the country
