Bit of work setting that up Jack,

Yeah it’s takes at least 6-8 hrs working constantly. That’s why I’m reluctant to show it at shows like La Mon which lasts for 5 hours. Amazingly the comments I’ve had from the public make it worth while. If I didn’t get satisfaction from it I wouldn’t do it. I’m taking it to the Netherlands in April next year.

Yeah JJF there’s a few. I’ve got a Citroen HY camper Van on it and a DS. I’ll see if I can get pics of it. There’s a DS at the entrance to the show not that Chipperfields had any Citroens. Purists have frowned at my layout when they saw them and made sure they pointed it out to me.

Looks absolutely brilliant - hope the exhibition goes well! Regarding the Citroens and frowns from the Purists, I understand that Chipperfields was one of the largest touring circuses in Europe?

Yeah, Chipperfields were the largest touring Circus in Europe and that’s reflected on my layout.

Jack, small minded people revel in undermining other people’s efforts, usually because they are too miserable to ever go to the effort required to do the like of what you are doing. Just focus on the enjoyment you bring to so many with your efforts and feck the purists/begrudgers

I had one guy at another exhibition pointed out to me that I had the wheel rims on a particular truck in the wrong colour. I can fairly well identify the purists so not wanting to be rude occupy myself in other ways but some of them are so persistent they want one to know that they know more than anyone else.
