Hykee security lock

Having read and viewing videos about how easily the lock on Transit cab doors can be picked I decided to change the lock. I bought a Hykee security replacement with bezel. The lock is a direct replacement for factory lock. It was quite easy to fit and it took around 30 minutes from start to finish. All in all it seems to be a good product.

Don't think you can get the Hykee lock for Fiat but you can get a Garrison deadlock. The thing I liked about the Hykee was the ease of installation. Nothing else to do but remove old lock.

From doing a bit of research on the net it appears the poor door lock security is on Mk 7 Transits and Transit Customs. My earlier Mk6 would seem to be ok or does anyone know otherwise?

I think your right. The MK7 and customs appear to have a real problem with break ins. MK6 were also targets but to a lesser extent.
